Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for performing complete echo exams on patients as ordered by physicians.
  • Responsible for submitting reports to physicians and immediately reporting any emergent findings.
  • Responsible for performing computer back-up to the Echo-Pac for storage of reports.
  • Performs work-in exams as ordered by the physician.
  • Resolves problems in department and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient are and services are provided,
  • Maintains Licensures and certifications.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality.
  • Performs related work as required.
  • Practices and adhere to HIPPA regulations.
Qualifications and Specifications
  •  Education-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
  • 2-3 years if full-time echocardiography experience.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
  • Skills in planning and organizing.
  • Skills in verbal and written communications.
  • Skills in researching, preparing, presenting reports to physicians when requested.
  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise.
  • Ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, patients, public and external agencies.
